Did you know there are several community gardens operating in the Salt Lake valley? Growing your own garden is not only a healthy choice, but it's also fantastic on your budget! Wasatch Community Gardens is having their annual plant sale this weekend. All proceeds go towards their programs, one being the community gardens in Salt Lake!

When: May 9, 2009, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: Rowland Hall Lower School, 720 S Guardsman Way (1580 E)

  • 30,000 plants, ready for planting
  • 42 hard-to-find heirloom tomato varieties
  • Organic compost and much, much more!
Save yourself some time this spring and guarantee an amazing harvest with our wide selection of heirloom vegetable seedlings, ready for the garden! Thousands of plants will cover the ground at Wasatch Community Gardens' largest annual fundraiser. Due to popular demand, the number of plants we are offering is more than double that of previous years – 30,000! Support WCG by selecting from our wide variety of locally grown heirloom vegetable seedlings, herbs and drought tolerant perennials. Utah native plants will also be available.
