Here are a few of my favorite pins that I have Pinned on Pinterest this week.  It's been so fun to see so many holiday ideas and now that it's almost October, I will start pinning some of my favorites!

Tons of Household TricksThis is a very long list of little cleaning tricks and a lot of them were ones I'd never heard of!  I never would have thought to use salt (or a dryer sheet!) to clean my iron or my drains, never would have thought of spraying the snow shovel with cooking spray to keep the snow from sticking to it, and I wish I had thought of using a lint roller to clean out all the crumbs and who knows what else out of my purse!  Genius!

Halloween Party Inspiration – This board combines a lot of the other Halloween ideas that I've seen on Pinterest and gives you a ton of cute, easy ideas.   If you are throwing a Halloween party, this is a fantastic resource, and if not, you can still find some great ideas to make Halloween for your family a little more festive and fun!

25 Ways to Stay Calm as a Parent – I always thought I was a pretty calm person….until I had kids!  I feel like every day at some point I am having to refocus my efforts to calm down and not get so upset and frustrated over the thousands of little catastrophes that occur on an hourly basis!  Great article.

Magic Mouthwash – Use a few common ingredients and ease sore throat pain?  Sign me up!  I haven't tried it so I can't tell you if it works or not, but I think it's worth a shot!  My whole family had sore throats last week, so hopefully it will be a long time before I can experiment with this remedy but I hope it works!  Supposedly it helps with canker sores too…even better!

Homemade Halloween Costumes – I have looked at quite a few websites that have DIY costume ideas, but this one is one of my favorites because it has so many ideas and they are well organized!  I always have high ambitions for making some really clever costumes, then I procrastinate and end up having to buy something because I've run out of time, but there are some really awesome ideas here!
