Last Saturday, we made an impromptu trip up to Tony Grove. It is somewhere I haven’t been since I was a teenager, and I have been wanting to go back for so long. My husband had never been there, and he was surprised with how gorgeous it was. I didn’t quite remember how breathtaking it was either. If you have never been here. It is so worth it!
Tony Grove Campground and Lake is located at the top of Logan Canyon. There are signs once you get in the canyon if you aren’t quite sure where it is. It is a lake nestled at the top of the mountain and it is so gorgeous. You can go up there for a day, or camp in the campground. You can drive right up to the lake and no hiking to get up to it is necessary, although there are hikes to go on if you are wanting to do that too. When we got there, there were people on the lake in canoes, tubes, and kayaks.
Campgrounds are mostly non-reserveable. However, they have a few reservation sites that can be reserved HERE starting at the beginning of July. It is $19 per night to camp. When we were there, there was still a little bit of snow in the campground, so my guess is that is gets REALLY COLD at night. So be prepared for cold nights if you are going to camp.
Here are some more pictures to show you how gorgeous it is up there. Pictures just don’t do it justice—
