Check. This. Out.

It's not only CLEAN it's completely EMPTY! {You can see what it used to look like here.}

Why would we completely empty the room? Why, to shampoo the carpets of course. Ha. Just kidding. I'm so not that on top of things this week. That would have been a great idea though.

Have I ever mentioned that I have this fantastic talent where I take a project and make it 10 times more difficult interesting than it originally needed to be? Well, I do.

See, we emptied the room because  my husband had this bright idea to swap our girl's room with the office. He said it once and I latched on to the idea and ran as fast as I could. We're all in the office much more than we ever thought we'd be- doing homework, reading, working on art projects, etc. So more space makes sense.  “Empty Out Disastrous Office” operation then commenced.

We decided to take it all a step further and repaint the former-girl's-room-turned-office. Isn't the new blue gorgeous? So relaxing. Zen. That was my thought behind the color choice.

Step 348 was to move stuff into the new rooms. The room is painted but yeah, we're still working on that whole moving thing. It's taking f.o.r.e.v.e.r.

Just wanted to give you all an update and let you know it's going well! Anyone else knee-deep in home projects this week?

    Thanks!! The Blue color is Scandinavian Sky- Olympic One paint from Lowe's. We've finished the room and it's so pretty! Bright, but still serene, if that makes any sense! I love it!
