Many people ask me how I save on printing costs, when printing so many coupons. The solution is easy–it's simply the printer I use! I have been using this HP LaserJet Pro P1102w Wireless Monochrome Printer for years and it has saved me hundreds of dollars in ink. I HIGHLY recommend it if you are wanting to print lots of coupons, but don't want the expense of buying or refilling cartridges. The printer is also wireless, so you can also print coupons from your phone (this may just be from iphone) from

The best thing about this printer is that you can find the toner cartridges for around $10.00 on Amazon. Serious. These toners print up to 1800 sheets per toner cartridge. Out of the box, it comes with a toner cartridge that prints about 800 sheets. I have only had to replace my toner three times in the almost 5 years that I have had it! It only prints BLACK & WHITE, but it is amazing for printing coupons (and school reports for all of you with kids in school!)

It is also advantageous for couponing because it prints the barcode on the coupon crisp and clear. I have never had a problem with my coupons scanning at the register (which used to be a problem for me all the time with my inkjet printer.)

Get it here: HP LaserJet Pro P1102w Wireless Monochrome Printer, $148 (Reg.$159)

There is also this one: HP LaserJet Pro P1109w Monochrome Printer, $79 (Reg. $140)

Here is the generic toner I always get and it works perfectly, never had a problem!

I hope this eases your printing woes! I know it has for me. I never have to worry about how much I'm printing, because it practically costs me nothing!

We are looking for a new printer- and I LOVE the idea of buying generic brand toners, but I print lots of stuff with color too. Would you mind watching out for great printer deals for a little while longer- and post if you see any? Also, thank you for your posts. I check your Facebook page multiple times a day and have gotten lots of awesome deals thanks to you. I appreciate it 🙂

absolutely! I love color too! 🙂 I will definitely look and post if I see one, which I am sure I will with all the upcoming holiday sales. Thanks for writing in! I love hearing from my readers!

I don’t right now, but I will look around and let you know. I saw some on Amazon that are around $200-$300. And the color cartridges that are no-name brands are still $86. That’s compared to $360 for the HP brand. Color laser printing is just really pricey. But we may see a deal on black friday. I will keep you posted!
