Use this John Morrell BOGO (Buy One Get One FREE!) coupon this week at Smith's to get 2 packages of lunch meat for FREE!! Print two and get 4 for FREE!! (Thanks Brandy!)

For those who printed it earlier like me, keep an eye on the expiration date. My coupons expire TODAY, 9/2!

DEAL EXPLAINED: I've had several emails asking me to explain how to get free lunch meat using this coupon! First of all, you will only use 1 coupon per 2 items purchased. The sale provides 1 free package per 1 package that you pay for. The coupon provides the same thing! So instead of paying for the 1 item, the coupon is your form of payment, which Smith's will in turn be reimbursed for! You can go here to see the full Grocery Smarts list for Smith's this week. There are some pretty decent sales going on! Get your Hefty Quart or Gallon sized bags for .74 each!!

The only promo this week is a Kellogg's cereal deal where you buy 3 boxes of cereal (for $3 each!) and you get a gallon of milk for free. Even pairing coupons with this promo, I don't think it's that great of a deal. If you absolutely need cereal, then go ahead, but otherwise, I'd skip it!

I'm a bit confused on how to use the BOGOs on items. I used the BOGO on this lunch meat yesterday and tried to use 2 coupons, one for the item I pay for and one for the free item. Smiths said I couldn't do that, but luckily, I only paid $1.79 for both after the coupon. How do you use a BOGO coupon for each item???

    Jessica-

Are the lunch meats totally free with the coupon? If so, how does that work?

My husband and I were planning on going to Costco to get our lunch meat but free sounds better!

Just a heads up! I just left the Smith's in Saratoga Spring and all of the cashiers are saying no to using 2 coupons for 4. They are only allowing 1 coupon. So in the end you buy 1 and get 3 free

I went today and the Lunch meat regular price is $4.39 and the coupon has a limit of $3.99. The stores always jack up the price when they put things on sale BOGO. I still got 4 tubs for $.80!

I went to Smith's this morning and tried to do this deal and ended up with a horrible expirience. the register wouldn't put the coupon in and then the cashier nicely asked a manager who came over and started literally yelling at me. Then the manager went over to a group of smith's workers and loudly started telling them how ridiculous I was and was trying to scam their store!!!! Oh, my gosh it was humiliating!!! Spare yourself the embarassement. The lady even told me i couldn't do it if i bought one more? Who knows … but i'm over the lunch meat needless to say!

Smith's in Syracuse let me use 2 coupons on this deal but they did only cover 3.99, not the full 4.39 price. Still, 2 pounds for 80 cents is great! I used the self checkout and the cashier was working the next line and did both at the same time.

Didn't work for me in Orem…they wouldn't even do the buy 1 get 3 free. They said I could only do the Smith's promo OR the coupon promo. I tried to explain, but no……

Worked this morning at the smiths in Draper. Also scored some huge deals on summer closeout. I got a 69.99 coleman portable grill for 17.50 and another off brand portable grill for 6.25. Great christmas gift. Also got paper products for .25 each. Make sure you check out your local smiths for some great close out bargins.

I should have read the comments before I went to do this as well. The Smith's in St. George wouldn't let me use 2 coupons either. They told me I could buy 2 and get one free which is not even as good a deal as BOGO. Why would I do that? Then the cashier told me it was coupon fraud. The lady behind me in line overheard our conversation and also piped in to say, "Yeah, that's coupon fraud." You're getting this stuff off the internet huh? says the cashier. Yes, I said. Wow, just plain embaressing.
