Ogden Pioneer Day Events:

Our favorite free events to go to with our kids is the special kids rodeo at Lorin Farr Park (on July 12.) The horse & hitch parade (happening on July 18 @ 7 pm), which is just a parade of horses followed by a free screening of “Man From Snowy River” at the Ogden Pioneer Stadium. And then the children’s and big parade happening in downtown Ogden (on July 25.)

My favorite thing to do on Pioneer Day is a water fight. The neighborhood I grew up in had a MASSIVE water fight since we were at a dead end (a bit safer).

  2. Cortney says:

I don’t know if I can pick a favorite thing. I remember going as a little kid and wanting to be a cowgirl when I grew up. 😉

  3. Tara Hart says:

We love to go as a family to the parade that morning and then fireworks? We have never been to that particular rodeo before hand , but that would be awesome!!!

  4. Kurliston says:

By far my favorite thing is the Patriot Night rodeo. Every time I cry like a baby when they recognize those that serve our great country. I love it! We do it every year as a family!
