We're almost out of milk and it's been a while since I've done any real grocery shopping, so I packed up the 2 kids that aren't in school and we headed to Walmart.

Now, I'm not a huge fan of Walmart. I don't go very often and when I do, I most often price match to get better deals. The easiest way to price match, in my opinion, is to use the Grocery Smarts All-in-One list. For a refresher course as to how to use Grocery Smarts, you can read about the Clipless Method of Couponing here. Instead of selecting a store, I select “All-in-One”, then I just go down the list and click on the store name, as well as any deals that store has that I want to price match. Instead of bringing 5 store sale fliers with me, I had 1.5 sheets of paper, along with my coupons. Easy.

It seems like all the great online offers for free Pantene, Suave, etc have come in the mail this past month, so used those this trip. I also had a fantastic coupon for a Lloyd's Barbecue product that I used as well. {Sent to me from Hormel.} Other than that, I did a lot of price matching and used a ton of coupons!

Before coupons {and after price matching} my total was $120.32, but I paid only $51.72- which represents a 57% savings achieved just in coupons alone! If I factor in price matching, my savings would have been over 65% easily.

Here's the rundown:

I used free product coupons for the Suave hair mousse and body wash, Herbal Essences hairspray and the 2 large bottles of Pantene. {I posted about all of these offers, but they ended soon after, so none are still available.} I also got the Lloyd's BBQ Pork free+ overage. I used the Dannon Oikos yogurt coupons from yesterday's Parade to get 5 for free.
