It's that time of year again- the Ringling Brothers Circus is coming to Utah! This year the show is all about Dragons and features breathtaking skills in a circus tournament of champions. Each tribe of dragons must prove that they have virtues of Courage, Strength, Wisdom and Heart to win. Sounds like an incredible show!

If your family is a fan of the circus, you might want to go an hour early to participate in the All-Access Pre-Show! The kids can learn to juggle, paint a circus craft and of course meet all the performers. Show up even earlier because 90 minutes before the start of the show, you can meet the Asian elephants during the Animal Open House! Not every circus venue has this option, but Salt Lake City does this year, so let's take advantage of this rare event.

Here are the dates and times for the Circus:

  • Thu, Sep 20th: 7pm
  • Fri, Sep 21st: 11:30am, 7pm
  • Sat, Sep 22nd: 11am, 3pm, 7pm
  • Sun, Sep 23rd: 1:30pm, 5:30pm
  • Mon, Sep 24th: 7pm

Use code mom  to save $5 off Circus admission! Remember kids ages 2 and under are free.

I'm not sure I've ever been to the circus…maybe when I was little. My favorite part of the circus is going to be the look on my daughters' faces when they are at opening night of the circus! 🙂

  2. Nicki and Josh Wagner says:

I love everything! Mostly the acrobatics, and the tigers! But the smell of the circus has got to be my #1! I think someone should get on top of making a circus scented candle so my house can smell like funnel cake and cotton candy all the time!

  3. Heather H says:

I haven't been to a circus since I was really little (and then I think I liked the peanuts and cotton candy best!) but I think now I would be a fan of the elephants and I bet my most favorite part would be my kids happy faces!

  4. Chelsea says:

I love the atmosphere, and love watching the agony on my husband's face that I made him go…the only way we'll make it is if I win them…so I'm crossing my fingers. Nothing gives me greater joy than making my husband suffer LOL

  5. Carol Cahoon says:

I have never been to the circus but have always wanted to go and see all the awesome animals and the tricks that they can do.

  6. stephanie poole says:

Watching my kiddos faces light up when they start the show and the get to see all bright lights and colors. Those moments are priceless. 🙂

  7. Rory W says:

I'm not sure what my favorite part of a circus is because it's been a LONG LONG time since I've been to one. I'd love to find out though! Thanks for the chance to win!

  8. Anonymous says:

I love the elephants!! But my boys faces, seeing the circus for the first time, would probably top the elephants!! Thanks for the chance.

  9. Anonymous says:

I've never been but I would love to take my boys. My favorite part would most likely be seeing the excitement and joy on their faces as they take it all in.

  10. Jessie says:

My favorite part of the circus is the fact that it is LIVE entertainment for me and the kids! To be present and enjoy the atmosphere, to see my kids' faces light up as they see the animals/stunts/clowns right in front of them!
