Reminder: Both the Thanksgiving Point Family Pass and Progresso/ Old El Paso Giveaways end tomorrow, 12/10!
Earlier this week my husband and I had the pleasure of taking our kids to Heber to ride the “North Pole Express!” We'd never ridden a train on the Heber Valley Railroad before so we were all thrilled to go. I have to say: we had a wonderful time! The kid's enthusiasm was infectious and  I was able to revel in the anticipation of Christmas.
We ate cookies, drank hot chocolate and sang Christmas carols together. We introduced our oldest son to the song “A Partridge in a Pear Tree.” Our 2-year old learned how to spin a wooden top and my daughter actually spoke to Santa! Progress! Afterwards we had hamburgers and french fries at the Dairy Keen, a fun train-themed restaurant in Heber.

The North Pole Express runs throughout the month and although ticket prices are rather steep, you can save $5 on tickets for December 14th, 15th and 16th by purchasing tickets directly from the Heber Valley Railroad at 435-654-5601. Mention Utah Deal Diva to get the $5 discount!

One lucky reader will win a family 4-pack of tickets to β€œThe North Pole Express,”
courtesy of the Heber Valley Railroad.
The tickets are for Thursday, December 16th at 5pm.
