Thanksgiving Point is a favorite family attraction here in Northern Utah- there seems to be something for everyone and each time we go, we have a great time!

This time of year I'm particularly grateful for all the indoor attractions they offer. Since my kids are on year round school now, we don't have an extended summer break like most do. Instead we have shorter, more frequent breaks throughout the year. Can I just tell you how very much I'm looking forward to entertaining my 4 kids at home for several weeks in January. Oh yes, that's going to be a fun one. Thank heavens for the Museum of Ancient Life! My kids call it the Dino Museum and love all the hands-on displays and wide, open exhibits.

After you're done seeing the dinosaurs, head on over to Farm Country as they have several indoor exhibits to see as well! Seeing the animals is fun, but it seems even when the weather is warm, we spend more time inside playing than we do outside.

If you're looking for a great gift idea, a Thanksgiving Point Family membership would be amazing! It's certainly the gift that keeps on giving as you'd be able to enjoy it all year long. The gardens are among my favorite things to see at Thanksgiving Point and they open March 30th. Also, even if you don't opt for a membership, I'd sign up to be on their newsletter. They constantly have free events and fun activities going on, so it's an easy way to stay in the loop!

We go outside and PLAY until we are frozen then come in and warm up by the fire. Of course we fill up our cups with snow and pour snowcone flavoring over it and enjoy that too.

  2. Erin says:

Love the library, bounce houses, Classic Skating, museums, and especially the zoo in the wintertime (less people and the animals seem more active and relaxed).

Today's giveaway is a favorite of mine! Have you ever been to Thanksgiving Point? My family loves going and it seems each time we go, I discover something new!

We've been to the Museum of Ancient Life and Farm Country many times- my kids just can't get enough of either. The gardens are also spectacular.  I was recently invited to go sample a few items from the Harvest restaurant menu and browse around the Emporium. My first impression of both- wow! Everything I sampled from the Harvest restaurant menu was incredible. I think I might have to convince my husband to take me there for a special occasion. The Emporium is a gigantic store that sells everything from clothing to home decor to wrapping paper. Everything was stylish and posh…and way over my budget! However, it was fun to window shop.
Thanksgiving Point has generously supplied me with an
Annual Family Membership to give away,
which has a value of $175!
The membership grants everyone in your immediate family free admission to Thanksgiving Point Gardens, Museum of Ancient Life and Farm Country for an entire year, as well as a 10% discount on retail & food, early admission and more!

My family has never been able to go to Thanksgiving point when my extended family goes because we can't afford it. I would love to get this and be able to go and enjoy Thanksgiving Point and get away with my husband for a night out. Thanks.

We had a membership a few years ago and LOVED it! We only had one car for a long time and I couldn't get there so it wasn't worth renewing it. But now that I have a car again I would love a membership again!

Emailed and told many people about this. We would love to give this to our kids for Christmas! We drive past almost everyday and from the backseat I hear, "Dinosaur Museum! Mom, can we go?!!! PLEASE?!!" Sadly the answer is always no, since their tickets are a bit too expensive for us. Would love to see their faces on Christmas morning!

What a fun giveaway! My children love the farm animals, and parts of the dinosaur museum (they are scared of the movies!) and I love the gardens.
