Thanksgiving Point is a favorite family attraction here in Northern Utah- there seems to be something for everyone and each time we go, we have a great time!
This time of year I’m particularly grateful for all the indoor attractions they offer. Since my kids are on year round school now, we don’t have an extended summer break like most do. Instead we have shorter, more frequent breaks throughout the year. Can I just tell you how very much I’m looking forward to entertaining my 4 kids at home for several weeks in January. Oh yes, that’s going to be a fun one. Thank heavens for the Museum of Ancient Life! My kids call it the Dino Museum and love all the hands-on displays and wide, open exhibits.
After you’re done seeing the dinosaurs, head on over to Farm Country as they have several indoor exhibits to see as well! Seeing the animals is fun, but it seems even when the weather is warm, we spend more time inside playing than we do outside.
If you’re looking for a great gift idea, a Thanksgiving Point Family membership would be amazing! It’s certainly the gift that keeps on giving as you’d be able to enjoy it all year long. The gardens are among my favorite things to see at Thanksgiving Point and they open March 30th. Also, even if you don’t opt for a membership, I’d sign up to be on their newsletter. They constantly have free events and fun activities going on, so it’s an easy way to stay in the loop!
