Now that we have this HOT $3/1 Snuggle coupon, many of you are probably wondering where to use it! I listed a few ideas below. Remember too that we have over a month to find a great sale, and many of these are regular prices at stores, so don't feel the need to rush out. {Unless you need fabric softener, like I did, then by all means, rush out and buy some!}

It looks like Snuggle is in the midst of changing over their formula and bottle, so I listed what each location has. This might make it difficult to price match! For instance, down at the bottom, I listed Kmart's sale this week on 64-oz bottles for $2.50. Neither Target or Walmart even carry these bottles, they only have the newer, HE compatible bottles. So if you want this deal, you'll have to go to Kmart, as opposed to price matching at Walmart.

Snuggle fabric softener, 50-oz, HE compatible, new bottle, all the new scents, $3.99

  • Use the $3/1 coupon
  • Final price: .99

Snuggle fabric softener, 50-oz, HE compatible, new bottle, all the new scents, $3.97

  • Use the $3/1 coupon
  • Final price: .97

Snuggle dryer sheets, 80 ct, $3.48

  • Use the $3/1 coupon
  • Final price: .48

Snuggle fabric softener, 64-oz, old bottle, $2.97

  • Use the $3/1 coupon
  • Final price: FREE

Family Dollar
Snuggle fabric softener, 30-oz,  new bottle, all the new scents, $3.00

  • Use the $3/1 coupon
  • Final price: FREE

Snuggle dryer sheets, 70 ct, $3.00

  • Use the $3/1 coupon
  • Final price: FREE

Just a little note about Family Dollar: I tried to go purchase two bottles using the coupon and the checker told me “I can't accept more than one coupon per purchase.” To which I replied, “Yes, and I'm purchasing two, so one coupon per bottle purchased.” Confusion on her part ensued. I tried explaining how coupons work once. Twice. Then I just asked to see the manager! She replied, “Honey, I am the manager.” Then I seriously had to withhold the Diva in me! Long story short- this woman/ manager had NO IDEA how coupons really work and in the end I told her to put the bottles back, that this wasn't worth it and I'd take my business elsewhere!

If you are planning on going to Family Dollar, I highly recommend printing out their coupon policy here. It clearly states on page 2, “Multiple coupons may be used in one transaction.” Seems pretty clear to me…

You can also use it at Kmart this week on the old 64 oz bottles to get those for FREE! They're priced at $2.50, so you won't have to pay anything after the coupon, however I doubt they'll give you the overage. Thanks Fabulessly Frugal!

I know this doesn't have to do with snuggles, but with Macey's sale that ends tomorrow, the Keebler crakcers they have on sale for 2 for $2.00, they carry the new Wheatables Nut Crips (or at least the one in Spanish Fork) and a week or two ago in the parade magazine they had coupons for a dollar off, so you can get them for free! Just thought you and the other readers might want to know that info. Thanks for all you do for us!

When I went to Family Dollar, the bottles that were $3 were only 24 load, and the coupons specifies for 32 load or larger. Did I miss a bigger bottle there? How many loads was the one you were trying to buy?

When I've had this happen to me I put on my "I'm happy to play by their rules" smile and hand each of my kids a coupon, an item, and some cash then let them each do their own transaction. They count as people too!

It's one of the few perks of dragging the kids around shopping with me. And they love doing the transactions! They look so proud of themselves when the clerk hands them their receipt and change. And I'm happy because I didn't have to waste the gas.

One Cheap Chick commented on the same problem at Family Dollar, so I had a heads up last week. I went to two different stores and used one coupon at each location. The first clerk was surprised at how good of a coupon it was and was surprised that the product was actually free. The second clerk said it was the coupon of the day.

I had the same problem at Family Dollar, I asked if I could do it in two transactions and the stupid clerk said it was only one per customer, not true. So I was nice and just sent my husband in to get the other box!

Thanks all for letting me know about Family Dollar. Not worth it for ONE coupon per shopping trip. Might try once with the coupon policy, but that never seems to do any good. (I've tried with Target and they don't budge)

With so many deals everywhere I find I only have time to hit Target, Walmart, Walgreens, and Smiths or Maceys ONCE per week. So I will pay a little more at one of these stores just to get all my deals at once. Life is busy and with kids I do what I can.

It never ceases to amaze me how many cashiers have no idea how coupons work. The thing that frustrates me even more is when they act like you are the stupid one! I've been couponing for almost 20 years and to have some 20 year old treat me that way makes it hard to just grin and bear it.

Note to the Wheatables comment: The Orem Macey's store said the in-store coupon was a manufacture coupon. 🙁

The Snuggle bottles at the Midvale Winco DO NOT work for this coupon – they are 64oz but are only 24 load. The coupon specifically says "32 load or larger", so you'll have to check to see if they have other sizes available that you could use the coupon on.

And Smith's has thrown their Snuggle on (32 and 40 load varieties) for 3.99 this week as well!

Please, please, PLEASE make sure you are using the coupon appropriately – the bottle must be "32 LOAD or larger". It has nothing to do with how many ounces are in the bottle. Just because the coupon doesn't beep at the register doesn't mean it's okay to use. The cashier might not catch it, but the store sure will when the company refuses to reimburse the store for that coupon because it was used incorrectly. Make sure you check the loads listed on the front of the bottle since there are so many bottles and sizes and varieties out there right now.

I also went to winco and they wouldnt take the coupon because its not the right size.

Kmart is also the wrong size too.
