Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum of Utah
The new traveling exhibit Super Kids Save the World opens May 16, 2015
The exhibit will be open to members on Saturday, May 16, at 9 am, with a public opening to follow at 12 pm.
Super Kids Save the World is an interactive exhibit that teaches kids how to save the world, one action at a time. Based on the British children’s book George Saves the World by Lunchtime, written by Jo Readman and illustrated by Ley Honor Roberts, Super Kids Save the World gives kids (and their parents) the power to go green! Designed with “green” materials and practices, this super exhibit gives kids real super hero training starting with the four R’s.
Areas include a house, garden, the Re-Use Charity Shop, a farmers’ market, recycle center, the Reduce Fuel Station, and a research lab.
