Elizabeth Lund, You are the winner! Message me for details on how to get your tickets!

Utah Coalition Against Sexual Assault is hosting a Fearless 5K Run/Walk and Fearless conference featuring Elizabeth Smart as the key note speaker. April is sexual assault awareness month and I have teamed up with them to get the word out about this event! They will be having a 5K in Memory Grove on April 25th. The school of Rock will provide music, they will have a photo booth, and Miss Utah and Miss Teen Utah will be over the awards and silent auction. The conference will be held in the evening and features Elizabeth Smart at Salt lake Community College.

While the national statistic for sexual assault is one in five women, the state of Utah’s statistic is even scarier with one in three women facing sexual assault at some point in their lives. Through our upcoming events we hope to raise awareness, inspire others to be advocates for change and raise money to support two important non-profit organizations that are doing endless work to end sexual assault.

5K Run/Walk:
9:30 a.m. Held at Memory Grove Park, SLC (375 North Canyon Road)

Be Fearless Conference:

I love learning new things! Now that I have kids of my own, I want to be a good role model for them and show them that you can do anything you set your mind to. Hard work really does pay off!

Awesome. Thank you for featuring this. I am going to see her dad speak this weekend, and would love to hear her speak as well. She is such an example of resilience and it is always important to discuss uncomfortable issues today so we can become better educated about them.

I need to hear this speech. I have fears and need to overcome them and I need to hear how she accomplished that.
