For as long as I can remember, frozen yogurt has been one of my favorite desserts and I am loving all of the new fro-yo shops that have opened up all over in the last couple of years! Many of them are somewhat similar, but one of my favorites is Yogurtland, and apparently a lot of people agree with me because every time I have gone there (which is fairly frequently), it is packed with people! Even in the middle of October, when it’s freezing outside!
Yogurtland has tons of flavors, and offers 16 of them at a time. They always have the basics, but rotate through some of their more exotic or seasonal flavors, like Pumpkin Pie, Blackberry Passion Fruit, Dragon Passion Tart, Salted Caramel Pecan and more! After you choose your flavor(s), you can add any kind of toppings you choose…anything from fresh fruit to sour worms to cookie dough and pretty much anything else you can think of in between!
Yogurtland’s wide range of flavors average 25 calories per ounce, so if you stick to some of the healthier toppings, you can enjoy a delicious dessert without any guilt! You pay per ounce, so you can get as much or as little as you want!
We took the kids there the other night and they all loved it-I mean, what’s not to love about frozen yogurt?!?! Especially when you can get M&Ms, Nerds and chocolate chips all in the same bowl? And that is why we love Yogurtland – each kid gets to enjoy their
interesting delicious topping choices, we can choose whatever we want and everyone is happy!
