Monday, September 3rd, Thanksgiving Point is hosting a Luau! What a fun way to spend Labor Day. Tickets can be purchased at the Thanksgiving Point box office or by phone. Here’s a brief description of what the event holds:
Say aloha to summer with great food, leis, tiki torches, and live entertainment at the annual Labor Day Luau. The luau features dancing from the UVU Legacy Dance Group representing various cultures of Polynesia including Samoa, Tonga, New Zealand, Hawaii, and Tahiti, plus the ever-popular fire knife dancers.
Doors open at 5 pm starting with dinner. Be sure to check out all the great activities before the luau including the Keiki fashion show where children will demonstrate and model Polynesian attire from all the different islands, and the Samoan fire cooking demonstration where you’ll see how Polynesians start a fire with coconut fiber.
